Turtle Island in Action

HOW WE WORK
THE PILLARS OF TURTLE ISLAND
Our mission is to save turtles and tortoises through rescue, research, and rewilding projects.
This requires us to work in a variety of locations, which may include the wildnerness, the streets of developing countries (due habitat desecration, many turtles are living in distress amongst humans), one of our four scientific centers in Austria, zoos around the world, partner laboratories, and more.
We are fortunate to be able to leverage our vast network as needed in order to carry out our international projects.
